Singapore, 11 April 2014 – This June, McDonald’s brings the joy of the Beautiful Game to aspiring young football enthusiasts in Singapore with its inaugural McDonald’s Football Clinic. A football training programme, the McDonald’s Football Clinic 2014 will give young football lovers the opportunity to hone their skills with qualified football coaches and professional training methods.

Organised in conjunction with the ESPZEN Soccer School & Academy, the five-day training camp for children born between 2002 and 2009 will take place during the June school holidays from 2nd to 6th June. During the camp, these young footballers will be personally trained by a qualified team of coaches, led by William Patz, a former Youth Coach for Manchester United FC. The five-day skills-based training camp will culminate in a mini-tournament and three talented participants will each win a one year’s free scholarship to the ESPZEN Soccer School & Academy worth S$5000.

Parents or legal guardians of interested participants can visit www.mcdonalds.com.sg/football-clinic to register their child’s interest. 120 places are up for grabs on a first-come-first-served basis. Registration closes on 26 April or when all places are filled.
