Singapore, August 22, 2005 HAMTARO AND HAMSTER FRIENDS BURROW THEIR WAY TO McDONALD’S! Hamtaro, the golden hamster with insatiable curiosity, and his friends have found their way to McDonald’s again! From August 18, 2005, McDonald’s will offer a Hamtaro toy with every McDonald’s Happy Meal.

There are six collectibles this time round – Hamtaro Candy Apple Spinner, Oxnard Birthday Launcher, Tater and Malta Cotton Candy Boat, Bijou Pools of Delight, Bozz and Snoozer Sweet Shinkansen and Lapis and Lazuli Candy Car.

Wind up the Hamtaro Candy Apple Spinner and watch Hamtaro pop out of the Candy Apple in a spinning frenzy. Press the button on the Oxnard Birthday Launcher and the adorable hamster will slide from atop a birthday cake on a strawberry.

Hamtaro’s friends Tater and Malta travel in their pretty Cotton Candy Boat. Draw the toy back and release it to see Tater paddling furiously to move the boat forward. Or press the “pools of water" on Bijou’s Pools of Delight to see it jump happily from pool to pool.

Wind up the Bozz and Snoozer Sweet Shinkansen and the hamsters will zip around the track in their little train. Pull back the Lapis and Lazuli Candy Car and release to see it travel about in different directions.
