Singapore, Feb 14, 2006 This Valentine month of February, fall in love with McDonald’s delicious, thick, creamy milkshakes all over again. The popular beverage, in vanilla, chocolate and strawberry flavours, will be available again at McDonald’s 14 dessert kiosks islandwide from February 16, 2006.

The iconic milkshakes are indelibly linked with McDonald’s founder Ray Kroc. A former distributor of milkshake makers, Ray Kroc was intrigued by the McDonald’s hamburger stand in California which ran eight of his milkshake machines at a time. He later bought the franchising rights for McDonald’s and the rest is history.

Since then, millions have enjoyed the heavenly experience of McDonald’s milkshakes, with their classic flavours and unmistakable rich velvety taste. Milkshake lovers here may remember their own yummy moments with McDonald’s milkshakes since the first restaurant opening in 1979 through the mid 1990s. And now, more than a decade later, McDonald’s milkshakes are back to shake up the tastebuds of Singaporeans, for a sweet price of $2.20 each.
