As a global sponsor of the 2006 FIFA World CupTM, McDonald's is feeding Singaporeans' passion for the World Cup with an exciting line-up of specially themed offerings to delight tastebuds and senses this football season! Adding fiery excitement to the World Cup season are two unique offerings: Pepper Drumlets meal ($6.95) and McSpicy meal ($6.85), each complete with Twister Fries (medium) and refreshing Iced Green Tea (regular). Ignite your senses with new Pepper Drumlets, succulent chicken coated in a spicy batter. Twister Fries, twisty version of fries in a crispy outer layer, are delicious as a snack or as part of a meal. McSpicy is a familiar spicy favourite, now available as a thicker chicken chop for more bite. Also drumming up the World Cup fervour is the new Banana Milkshake, available at about 20 dessert kiosks islandwide starting 11 May 2006. The promotional flavour joins the team of chocolate, strawberry, vanilla milkshakes that have been winning scores of milkshake fans since their launch earlier this year. Milkshakes are available at a sweet price of $2.20 each. For the first time, McDonald's will be sending a team of three Singapore children for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to FIFA World Cup GermanyTM, where they will escort world-class football players onto the pitch.
