Dining-in reaches a whole new level of convenience tomorrow as McDonald’s celebrates the official launch of its new virtual restaurant experience. A first for quick service restaurants in Singapore and for McDonald’s globally, customers can now make their McDelivery 24/7 orders online at a newly launched website - mcdelivery.com.sg.

McDonald’s new “virtual restaurant" at mcdelivery.com.sg has been specially designed to provide customers with a user-friendly web ordering experience. With simple-to-follow instructions and attractive easy-to-navigate menus at your fingertips, ordering online is now even easier than picking up the phone. Additionally, the McDelivery 24/7 web ordering system allows customers to check their order status instantaneously by entering their order number. They can make orders in advance by specifying a preferred date and time for delivery and payments can be made through Visa or Mastercard. .

“Research has shown that more and more customers are making their purchases online, not just for the convenience but also because of the control virtual shopping allows – and this is exactly what mcdelivery.com.sg is about, to provide an immediate “click it" solution for food-craving moments anytime of the day," said Ms Shirley Foenander, Vice President of Marketing and Communications, McDonald’s Restaurants.

“At McDonald’s, we are constantly on the lookout for new ways to meet the needs of our customers and stay relevant to their changing 24/7 lifestyles.  Web ordering via mcdelivery.com.sg raises the bar and introduces a new level of Super-convenience that is unique to McDonald’s", said Ms Foenander.

First introduced in 2003, McDeliveryhas become so well-accepted that McDonald’s was given access passes to facilitate deliveries to Jurong Island, Sentosa and some educational institutions. In 2005, McDonald’s again demonstrated its commitment to providing greater convenience to its customers by becoming the first to offer 24-hour delivery service, seven days a week and with no minimum order requirement.
